SHOP LOCAL this holiday season at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center! Following our annual holiday Silent Auction fundraiser on Thursday November 29^th at the City Hall Ballroom, the Cultural Center Gift Shop will be hosting two additional fun and exciting shopping events this season to fulfill all of your gift-giving needs: our 4^th annual Artist Gift Bazaar and our 2^nd annual Stock-Up Sale & Open House! The 4^th Annual Artist Gift Bazaar will be held Tuesday, December 4^th – Saturday December 15^th; hours are Tuesdays-Fridays 10am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm (closed Sundays & Mondays). The Artist Bazaar features local and regional artists set up in the Gallery space of the Center selling original arts, crafts, soaps, jewelry, books, sand cast leaves, and more. Come to see beautiful works of art and leave with one-of-a-kind gifts for your family, friends, or even yourself (you deserve it!). After a successful first year in 2011, the 2^nd Annual Stock-Up Sale & Open House is back on Friday, December 7^th from 6-9pm. This is an exciting night of amazing bargains (best deals of the year!), socializing, and shopping fun with stock-up discounts on ALL Gift Bazaar and Gift Shop items (including Iittala!). This is the perfect chance to check off everyone on your holiday list, with unique, meaningful, locally made gifts, at a great price. The more you buy, the more you save, with discounts of 10, 15, or 20% off, plus Cultural Center members get their everyday 10% discount on top of these stock-up savings. To top it all off, FREE gift wrapping will be available, and while you wait, enjoy some refreshments including light hors d’oeuvres and beer, wine, or cider. Many of the featured artists will be in attendance, and new this year, several authors will be present for book signings.
