Second Thursdays @ NOON
Join us for a monthly creative break designed to introduce participants to new art materials and processes. Held on the second Thursday of the month from noon - 1:00 p.m., the cost is just $10. Bring your own lunch and enjoy a beverage on us!
Classes are led by Artist / Cultural Center Artistic Director Megan Shirley-Ross.

Discover how differences in color, shape, texture, value, and form can create visual interest and impact. - November 12, 2026 – Emphasis
Learn how artists create focal points and draw attention to important areas of an artwork. - December 10, 2026 – Pattern
Explore repetition and design structures that create rhythm, organization, and visual interest. - January: No Class (Cultural Center Closed)
- February 11, 2027 – Movement
Investigate how artists create a sense of motion and guide the viewer’s eye throughout an artwork. - March 11, 2027 – Unity
Learn how artists combine individual elements to create a cohesive and connected composition. - April 8, 2027 – Variety
Explore how differences in artistic elements can add excitement, creativity, and visual interest. - May 13, 2027 – Proportion
Discover how relationships between size, scale, and placement affect the overall impact of an artwork
