8 x 8 Fundraising Show
All Ages & Mediums Welcome

The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center invites artists of all ages to participate in our upcoming 8 x 8 Show, a special fundraising exhibition celebrating creativity in a compact format.

The exhibition will run concurrently with our Annual Artist’s Bazaar, bringing additional visitors and increased exposure for participating artists.

The exhibit will be shown from November 14 to November 28, 2026. A special gallery reception will take place on Saturday, November 28, from 1-3 PM. Free to see and open to all!

Call for Artists!

Regional artists of all ages are invited to submit up to two pieces of art. All mediums 2D and 3D will be accepted.

  • Artwork Drop-Off Deadline: November 12, 2026
  • Exhibit Dates: Nov 14 -28, 2026

Submission Guidelines

  • Artists may submit up to 3 works.
  • Each artwork must measure exactly 8 x 8 inches in height and width.
  • Artwork depth may vary.
  • All media are welcome, provided the work is original and ready to hang on a wall.
  • All artwork must be suitable for public exhibition.
  • All submitted artwork must be available for sale. Please see the Sales section below for commission information.

Delivery Details

All artwork must arrive at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center by Thursday, November 12.

Artwork may be dropped off during regular business hours:

  • Tuesday: 10 AM–5 PM
  • Wednesday: 10 AM–7 PM
  • Thursday: 10 AM–7 PM
  • Friday: 10 AM–5 PM
  • Saturday: 10 AM–3 PM
  • Sunday & Monday: Closed

Artist Submission Form

Artists must complete a submission form for each artwork. The form includes the information needed for the exhibition and sale of your work.

The submission form is available on our website or in person at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center. Please complete the form and submit it with your artwork.

Sales & Commission

Because this is a fundraising exhibition for the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center, all artwork must be offered for sale.

Artists may choose the percentage of the sale price they wish to donate to the Cultural Center:

  • 50% — minimum commission/donation to the Cultural Center
  • 75% — increased commission/donation to the Cultural Center
  • 100% — full donation of the sale price to the Cultural Center

The artist will receive the remaining percentage of the sale price, based on the commission level selected at the time of submission.

Artist payments will be issued by mailed check shortly after the conclusion of the sales period.

Closing Reception

Join us for a Closing Reception on Saturday, November 28, from 1–3 PM!

The reception is free and open to everyone. Come celebrate the artists and enjoy light refreshments while viewing the 8 x 8 exhibition.

Artists who attend the closing reception may take any of their unsold artwork with them at the conclusion of the reception. Artists who do not pick up their unsold work at the reception may pick it up beginning Tuesday, December 1, during regular business hours.

Pick-Up of Unsold Artwork

Unsold artwork remaining after the closing reception may be picked up beginning Tuesday, December 1, during regular business hours at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
