A Watch Party With Weavers

New York Mills Regional Cultural Center
Free to Attend | Registration Required
Join us, along with West Central Initiative, for a local watch party of Rural Assembly Everywhere, a free national broadcast celebrating the people, ideas, and connections that make rural communities thrive.
This gathering is free to attend and is held at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center (24 N Main Ave, New York Mills) on Tuesday, July 23, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Together, we'll gather with friends and neighbors to watch inspiring stories from rural communities across the country, hear conversations with leaders and changemakers, and explore new ideas for strengthening opportunity, connection, and belonging in rural America.

Rural Assembly Everywhere features a compelling lineup of rural authors, leaders, musicians, and artists. Learn more here: PROGRAM LINEUP
The evening will also introduce the Weaver Awards, a new initiative of the Aspen Institute's Weave: The Social Fabric Project, which recognizes people who strengthen the social fabric of their communities through everyday acts of care, leadership, and connection. Learn more about the West Central Minnesota Weaver Awards and how to nominate someone -- or yourself.
In addition to the broadcast, stay for conversation, connection, and a complimentary dinner catered by Continental Divide Brew Pub.
Whether you're an artist, volunteer, educator, business owner, local leader, or simply someone who cares about the future of rural communities, we invite you to join us for this evening of inspiration and meaningful conversation.
Please register by Wednesday, July 22 at 4:00 p.m. Space is limited, and advance registration helps us plan for dinner. There is no charge for registration or dinner.
