Cheryl Bannes Artist Bio Cheryl Bannes received a BA and MA in 3D Studio Art and a K-12 teaching certification.   She studied traditional silversmithing, learning to create fine metal items like goblets and bowls, and also studied the history and construction of armor.  She also enjoys painting using cattle markers and oil paint sticks, pastels, watercolor, and mixed media, as well as printmaking and working with recycled metals.  Cheryl is inspired by historical artworks, nature, and the limitless potential of metal.  Cheryl is available for workshops and consignments: cbannes.orts@gmail.com, 406-366-0704. This is an art show celebrating artistic connections, shared support, and the friendships that help creativity grow and flourish, bringing together the work of a group of friends who have supported and inspired each other. After moving across the country to Minnesota, artist Cheryl Bannes was fortunate to meet a wonderful network of local artists whose connections inspired creativity, built a network of support, and created bonds of friendship. Each of the artists in this show is well known throughout the region for their lifelong commitment to art and art education, as well as their high-quality original artwork.
