Crepe Paper Flower Workshop Saturday, May 2, 2026 10 AM - 12 PM Space Limited—Register Today!
Join local artist Leona Rogers for a hands-on workshop where participants will learn how to create beautiful, lifelike flowers using crepe paper. The class will take place on Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center in New York Mills, MN.
Leona works with high-quality German and Italian crepe papers along with floral wire to craft her detailed blooms. During the workshop, she will guide participants step-by-step through the process of shaping, assembling, and finishing a crepe paper flower.
Each student will receive a prepared kit assembled by Leona that includes all the crepe paper and wire needed for the project. Leona will also provide several specialty tools for use during the class.
Participants will create one complete bloom during the workshop, while their kit will include enough materials to make two additional flowers at home.
This class is perfect for beginners as well as anyone interested in learning a new paper craft technique. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished flower, the skills to create more, and a kit of materials to continue crafting.
All materials are included.
