Join us as we launch an exciting new chapter for the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center, and for our entire community and rural region!
This special open house marks the kick-off of our Cultivating Community Capital Campaign, and you’re invited to be part of it. Together, we’re building on the creativity, connection, and vitality that make this place so meaningful, and imagining what comes next.
Whether you’ve been with us for years or are just getting to know the Cultural Center, this is your chance to explore, connect, and help shape the future. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome.

- Learn about our capital campaign vision and plans
- View renderings and design concepts for restoration and expansion
- Visualize the future with commercial interior designer Sarah Carlson of Theisen Design Studios (also an NYMRCC Board Member!)
- Take a guided tour of our historic Main Avenue building, available every half hour (4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30)
- See progress on upcoming improvements and future spaces
- Learn about energy-efficient upgrades, including new windows and sustainability efforts, through information provided by area energy efficiency organizations
🎨 Experience the Celebration
- Community mural painting – help create Artist-Designed paint-by-number murals that will become part of our temporary space
- “Cocktails & Dreams” community input station – share your ideas and vision on our shared future
- Slideshow of design inspiration and artwork – check out renderings and inspirational images
- Meet and mingle with staff, board members, and capital campaign steering committee members
- Gift Store clear-out specials – enjoy shopping deals while helping us solve space challenges & increase our earned revenue

- A relaxed, social atmosphere with conversation, music, food, drinks, and creativity
