Mary Jo is a painter using the medium of alcohol inks and a fiber artist working in 3-dimensional artwork. In the past year and a half she has been awarded the LRAC/McKnight Career Development Grant and the McKnight Legacy Arts and Cultural Heritage Grant. Her work has been juried into numerous exhibits in Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Carolina and she completes work on commission. She teaches numerous workshops on painting with alcohol inks.
