The Cultural Center is pleased to present its 2026 Fall/Winter Performing Arts Series! We look forward to providing opportunities to connect with artists in our unique, intimate listening-room-style space in our visual arts gallery. ALL are welcome to join us for these one-of-a-kind creative experiences! Most performances begin at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 7:00) and are held in the Cultural Center's gallery space unless noted otherwise.

General admission seating is first come, first served. Tickets are available online (links below), at the Center, or by calling 218-385-3339. Light refreshments and cash bar available at most performances.
Saturday, August 29 - Eric Keranen
A graduate of New York Mills High School, Erik Keranen returns to the community where his musical journey began, bringing with him songs inspired by life on the road, the outdoors, and the landscapes that continue to shape his work.
With stripped-back acoustic guitar, soulful harmonica, and heartfelt storytelling, Erik bridges the gap between past and present. Fans of Steve Earle, Gram Parsons, and Bob Dylan will appreciate his authentic songwriting and Americana-inspired sound while his genuine stage presence creates a memorable live music experience for audiences of all kinds.

Saturday, October 3 - Live Music @ Pickletoberfest: Meat Rabbits
The Meat Rabbits are a five-piece outfit that explodes with high-energy arrangements and irresistible dance-floor appeal.
They blend traditional polka joy with fresh, original interpretations of rock and roll classics and today’s hits. They fuse riffs and mash-up tunes to create sounds that are simultaneously familiar and entirely original. In addition to inventive covers, they also write original polka tunes that tap into the genre at its happiest and most fun-loving. Of course, the Meat Rabbits play the true standards of the genre, too. They have a devoted following, cultivated mostly by word of mouth, who show up ready to party whenever they hit the stage.
The Meat Rabbits will be performing from 7:00 - 10:00 PM on Main Avenue during Pickletoberfest - and don't forget to bring a lawn chair! FREE TO ATTEND & open to all!

Thursday, October 15 - Chuck Suchy
Chuck Suchy is a folk musician, songwriter, and working farmer from Mandan, North Dakota. Raised on his family’s farm, he draws inspiration from the people, stories, and everyday life of the Great Plains, celebrating prairie life, family, farming, and North Dakota history.
Chuck has released eight studio albums and performed at the Kennedy Center and on Prairie Home Companion. He was named North Dakota’s Centennial Troubadour in 1989 and became the state’s first official State Troubadour in 2005.

Thursday, October 22 - Dylan Doyle Band
Crowd favorite Dylan Doyle returns to the Cultural Center stage with his signature blend of roots, rock, funk, R&B, and Americana. Known for fiery guitar, soulful vocals, and heartfelt storytelling, Dylan has captivated audiences nationwide for over a decade.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Jimi Hendrix, John Prine, and Bill Withers, Dylan brings a uniquely American sound that is fresh, authentic, and deeply personal. Don’t miss this special evening with one of our most beloved returning artists.

Thursday, November 5 - Mitch Paul Groethe Concert
Mitch Paul is a singer, songwriter, and musician from Perham, Minnesota, who has been performing for more than 50 years. Drawing from folk, rock, and blues, his music blends thoughtful storytelling with a lifetime of experience.
Whether performing solo or with friends and family, Mitch’s songs are honest, personal, and rooted in the simple power of live music. He continues to write, record, and perform, proving that music doesn’t age; it deepens.

Monday, December 21 - Longest Night Music Festival
Each year on the Winter Solstice, the Cultural Center opens its doors for an evening of music, food, drinks, and community connection. Local and regional musicians come together on the longest night of the year to share their talents and celebrate creativity, warmth, and light in the heart of winter.
This FREE-TO-ATTEND, informal, and joy-filled gathering has become a beloved community tradition—a chance to pause and connect with neighbors and friends amidst the holiday season. Come as you are, stay as long as you like, and enjoy an eclectic mix of live local music in our cozy gallery listening-room setting.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, music begins at 7:00 PM. Light refreshments and cash bar available.
