Seeking Emerging Artists
Open Call for Art
Co-Presented by NYMRCC & CDBP
The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center and Continental Divide Brew Pub are excited to partner on a rotating exhibition program that showcases the work of emerging regional artists.
This collaboration offers artists the opportunity to display and sell their work in a welcoming, high-traffic community space while connecting with new audiences outside of a traditional gallery setting.
Exhibition Details
Selected artists will exhibit their work for approximately 6–8 weeks at Continental Divide Brew Pub in downtown New York Mills. Exhibitions will rotate throughout the year, with one or two open calls annually depending on participation and scheduling.
Artists may submit either:
- Up to 12 pieces measuring 10 × 10 inches or smaller, or
- Up to 6 pieces measuring up to 18 × 18 inches
All artwork must be professionally presented and ready to hang.

Artwork Sales
Artists are strongly encouraged to offer their work for sale during their exhibition period.
A standard 30% commission will be retained on all artwork sold. This commission will be split equally between the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center and Continental Divide Brew Pub to support the ongoing exhibition program.
The remaining 70% of each sale goes directly to the artist.
A Partnership for the Arts
This exhibition program is designed to create meaningful opportunities for emerging artists while strengthening connections between the arts, local businesses, and the community. By bringing original artwork into an everyday gathering place, we hope to increase visibility for regional artists, encourage art sales, and make local art more accessible to residents and visitors alike.
We look forward to celebrating the creativity of our region and providing artists with a welcoming space to share their work.
