Help bring creativity and connection to our community.

Be Part of Something Creative, Meaningful, and Local

The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center thrives because of people like you.

From concerts and festivals to behind-the-scenes projects, volunteers play a vital role in bringing arts and culture to life in our community. Whether you have a few hours to give or want to be more involved, there’s a place for you here.

Check out our upcoming volunteer opportunities and jump in when it works for you.

What You Can Help With

No two volunteer days look the same and that’s part of the fun.

You might find yourself:

  • Greeting guests at concerts and events
  • Helping bring festivals to life
  • Sorting and organizing materials behind the scenes
  • Hanging posters and spreading the word around town
  • Supporting exhibits, classes, and special projects

Some roles are social, some are hands-on, and some are quick and simple. All of them matter.

Why Volunteer at the Cultural Center?

When you volunteer with us, you're not just helping at events. You’re helping keep arts and culture alive and accessible in our community.

Make a Lasting Impact

Built by Volunteers. Sustained by Community.

Volunteer support has been part of the Cultural Center’s story from the very beginning.

Back in 1991–1992, volunteer labor helped make the original renovation of the two-story gallery building possible, even with limited financial resources. Over the past three decades, volunteers have continued to play an essential role in shaping the success and growth of the Center.

Simply put, this place would not be what it is today without the people who show up and lend a hand.

“Volunteering adds an extra dimension and sense of pride as I do my part to spread the importance, enjoyment, and love of the arts.”

Dorothy Eskeli - Longtime Cultural Center Volunteer
